Great job, Argonaut mathletes! Four contests down, one to go. Overall results for all teams.  Overall results for all teams for the second contest of the season.  We are off to a great start! Here are some statistics for the first Math Olympiad contest.  Math Olympiad, Grades 4 & 5:
Enrollment for Math Olympiad, a PTA-sponsored after-school program, is now open. Argonaut 4th and 5th graders are welcome to register. Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. A parent meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 7:15-8:30pm, in the Argonaut multi-purpose room. http://register.asapconnected.com/courses.aspx?coursegroupid=6531&ind=1 Thanks coaches, mathletes and all parent volunteers for another great season. Way to go! Now get outside and play soccer and tennis. :-) Extra props to three 5th graders who had a perfect score for all 5 contests! See you at the awards party in May.  There are 3 5th graders with perfect scores for the year going into the 5th contest. Our teams are doing really well. One more training session and contest remaining in the season! Below are the statistics for contest 4 with 77% of all teams having reported their scores. 
Three contests down. Mathletes, coaches, and parent volunteers are doing great. We have 3 5th graders and 1 4th grader still in the running for the Dr. George Lenchner Award for perfect score!
The statistics for contest 3 are available from the team coaches. The first half of the Math Olympiad season is over and I wish all our mathletes and parent volunteers a restful break. With two of the five contests completed, we are doing great and the kids are learning a lot and having fun. See you in January!
I will send out the results for contest 2 when the MO stats website is fully functioning again. Sixty 5th, 4th, and 3rd graders recently took a mathleague.org qualifying test. Based on their performance on the qualifying test, 37 students are eligible to participate in this year's state championship. The championship meet will be held at UC Davis, and registration will begin at 1pm on May 4th. Others who have qualified based on their performance at mathleague.org tournaments this year are also eligible.
