- The following numbers are based on samples of 69,536 students drawn from 3,084 teams in Division E who have reported their scores.
- About 25% of the sample is in grade 6, about 46% in grade 5, and about 27% in grade 4.
- Scoring a perfect 5 on this Olympiad: 1,562 mathletes. Scoring a near-perfect 4 on this Olympiad: 5,171 mathletes.
- The “average” fourth, fifth or sixth grader scored 2.01 points.
